Dubai and legends of Arabia Cruise
Tour the south-east coast of the Arabian peninsula on this Pullmantur cruise
As you travel across the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman, discover amazing destinations on Pullmantur's Dubai and Arabian Legends Cruise. Our tour starts in the port of Dubai, one of the most visited cities in the Middle East; over the course of eight days, we'll travel to different, fascinating locations in Fujairah and Abu Dhabi, two of the United Arab Emirates other states, as well as the cities of Khasab and Muscat in Oman.
The attractions that you will see on this Pullmantur cruise are varied: some are natural wonders, while others are man-made monuments. Among the first group are the Sands of the Wahiba Desert in Muscat, with dunes that reach a height of 150 meters, Abu Dhabi's Corniche Beach, and the Khasab Musandam fjord.
With regards to all the monuments in Oman and the United Arab Emirates, Pullmantur's Dubai and Arabian Legends Cruise lets you see sites like Dubai's artificial 'World' archipelago, which forms a world map, Abu Dhabi's Zayed Mosque and Muscat's Fort Al Jalail, which was built at the end of the 16th century.
The architecture of the future is already part of the present in Dubai
Dubai had barely 50,000 inhabitants up to the 1950's, but the development of a major oil industry in the United Arab Emirates at that period led its population figures to multiply by 50 over the past half century. Meanwhile, Dubai's skyline has been filled with over 180 tall buildings, many of which are on the list of Asia's tallest skyscrapers.
Of all the sights you can see while touring Dubai, the most unique are the Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world since 2010), Al Yaqoub Tower, the towering clock tower (328 meters) inspired by London's Big Ben, and the Burj al Arab Hotel, which features a candle-shaped façade. In Khasab, the first of the Omani destinations on Pullmantur's Dubai and Arabian Legends Cruise, you can admire the Khasab Fort or the Castle in the old part of the city.
In addition, right outside Khasab you can see some of Arabia's most striking natural landscapes, the Musandam Fjords. One of the most important is the Khor Ash Sham, which is up to 17 kilometres long. As for the other Pullmantur stop in Oman, we'll be visiting Muscat, home to the Al Alam Palace, the Bait Al Zubair Museum or the Grand Mosque of Sultan Qaboos, Thus, you will discover why Muscat is one of the main travel destinations in the country.

The second destination on Pullmantur's Dubai and Arabian Legends Cruise is Fujairah, the capital of the emirate of the same name. One of the main tourist attractions in Fujairah is The Heritage Village, where you can discover what traditional life is like in this territory. And, a mere eight kilometres from the city centre, you can visit the Al Badiyah Mosque, the oldest of all in the United Arab Emirates.
When you visit Abu Dhabi on Pullmantur's Dubai and Arabian Legends Cruise you can photograph important examples of the contemporary architecture of the United Arab Emirates. Some of the most outstanding are the Abu Dhabi World Trade Centre, the Aldar Headquarters building or the headquarters of the Stock Exchange, located in Sowwah square. Another one of Abu Dhabi's major sites is the Ferrari theme park, which boasts 19 attractions and is located on the artificial island of Yas.
This Pullmantur cruise also allows you to see outstanding Abu Dhabi landscapes like the Desert Park and the tombs of Jebel Hafeet. Recognized as a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1993, this sight is home to half a thousand tombs that date from 3200 to 2700 BC, and where you can see Mesopotamian handicrafts, as well as bronze or pearl utensils.
