Leaving the port you will be driven across the city to see the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the unique Panathenian Stadium, all in marble, and the Residence of the President guarded by the colourful Greek soldiers dressed in traditional costumes, the "Evzones".
Driving through the heart of Athens (Syntagma Square), where the Parliament and the Old Palace are, you will arrive at the sacred rock of the Acropolis. Acropolis, which means the highest part of a city, was inhabited from the 2nd millennium BC. Parthenon, the great temple of Athena, dominates the plateau and was built in the second half of the 5th century BC by the famous architects Iktinos and Kallikrates. The sculptures adorning the temple were mastered by Phidias. The Propylea, the Temple of Athena Nike, commonly known as the temple of the Wingless Victory, and Erechtheion are also worth special attention for their marvellous architecture.
After the conclusion of the visit you will be driven to the Syntagma Square from where you can stroll around for shopping and have lunch on your own, before you will be driven to the Athens international airport.

Drive through the picturesque marinas of Zea and Mikrolimanoin Piraeus, as your tour heads to the center of Athens. You will have the opportunity to admire some of the most important sites of Athens, such as Constitution square, the Monument of the unknown soldier,Temple of Zeus,Royal Palace,and the old Marble Olympic stadium.
The Acropolis, is one of the most photographed and recognizable hills in the entire world. Sight include the Propylaea,Temple of Apteros Niki,Erectheum and Parthenon itself. Following the visit to the museum you will have free time in Plaka area for about 2 hrs and then you will visit the Ancient Agora.After that you will have about an hour free time in Plaka and then you will depart to Athens airport.

Later we will continue with the visit of the National Archaelogical Museum, where we can see the three phases of Greek sculpture. Piraeus, the port of the old city of Athens, will be our starting point. From there we will enjoy a panoramic tour of the Zeus Temple, the Arch of Arthrolith, which was the connection between the greek and the roman city.
After a panoramic trip in which we will contemplate Athenian monuments as the University or the National Academy, we will ascend the hill to the impressive Acropolis.There we will stop in front of the most important monument of classical Greece: the Parthenon. This marvel architecture survives past the time and represents, the grandeur of a mythical past.We will also see the Propileo, known as the Temple of the winged Victory and the Erechteion, with its magical caryatids.
The highes part of the Acropolis will offer us a wonderful view of Athens. We will meet again with our guide and head directly to the airport to take our flight.
