We will go directly to the heights of the Top Station of the cable car, viewing the geography of this British colony located in the gates of the Mediterranean. We will see the old military battery and return with our guide to the cable car to go to the Middle Station, home to the oldest inhabitants of Gibraltar: the apes of the Rock. We will return to the coach which will take us to the tunnels of the Great Siege, a system of tunnels excavated within the solid limestone of the Rock, work starting in 1782. Visiting the tunnels is a fascinating experience, which many of the visitors to the Rock will hardly be aware of. We will view the first buildings constructed by the British in Gibraltar, which today constitute the exhibition “Gibraltar, a city under siege”, passing by the medieval castle built in 1333 by the Arabs, and we will be able to admire its impressive tower facing the southernmost point of Gibraltar, Europe´s Peak.
